Tali Valentine is a writer and artist from Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has led creative strategy, design, and brand communication for organizations including The Trinity Forum, the CCCU, and the Wheaton College Art Department, where she served as the Studio Associate and Gallery Manager. She creates custom art at Heirloom Tomato Studio to help clients commemorate where love has been. She also writes On Staying Alive, a forthcoming collection of essays exploring how to live as the daughter of a mother lost to the epidemic of deaths of despair. A Creative Writing and Illustration graduate of Taylor University, Tali has participated in the Young Storytellers Cohort with Christianity Today and the Brehm Residency at Fuller Seminary. She lives outside Chicago with her husband, community, and aspiring tomato plants.
